Judging by the number of two-wheelers in our in-house bicycle storage facility, our community is rather cycling-minded. So it’s particularly fitting that a true cycling paradise can be found just around the corner. At [**Maats Cycling Culture**](https://hetindustriegebouw.nl/gemeenschap/news/in-de-buurt-maats-cycling-culture/), cycling jerseys are displayed with all the space and care of haute couture. “But if you thought that was all we were about, you’d be mistaken,” says store manager Jochem. “Of course, we sell premium cycling apparel, but above all, we aim to bring people together and help them connect over coffee, tasty treats and *social rides*.” So be sure to stop by—even if cycling isn’t your thing, Jochem and his team will be delighted to make you a cup of *speciality coffee*.

**New x Archive**  
Looking to step into summer sustainably yet stylishly? Then you really should visit the ever-friendly **Nen Xavier** at [**New x Archive**](https://www.newxarchive.com/). He previously ran two Rotterdam shops selling exclusively new clothing, but took a different approach on Pannenkoekstraat, offering fantastic designer vintage pieces and outlet finds. “*Ageless, timeless, genderless*” is his motto—in other words, Nen’s selection is for everyone. Alongside unique clothing, you’ll also find beautiful shoes and accessories.

**De Kleine Kapitein**

**Charlotte Wooning**  
The holidays are *around the corner*—and, as it happens, so is [**Charlotte Wooning**](https://hetindustriegebouw.nl/gemeenschap/news/in-de-buurt-charlotte-wooning/). The Rotterdam jewellery brand’s flagship store moved to larger premises last winter, integrating its workshop into the shop itself. Now, you can not only choose a beautiful piece from one of Charlotte’s collections, but also work with the designer herself to create something personal. Even better, her summer collection, [*Coastlines*](https://charlottewooning.com/collections/coastlines), instantly evokes that holiday feeling with its golden sparkle, pearls and coral.
